Christiane Cristo
Christiane is from Brasilia, Brazil. She has been in New York for four years, and is here on a dance fellowship with The Dance Theatre of Harlem.
Also involved with dance at The Point, Christiane caught a glimpse of the scarf painting at BronxGear and asked if she could join in.
Christiane says that it is a great joy to be able to paint the scarves. She also thinks it is a great opportunity for the children to be able to enjoy doing the painting and have the instruction and materials to work with for free.
