Who we are

Suzanne Kreps, Executive Director
An original advisory board member, Suzanne became fresh art‘s executive director since July 2003. Suzanne is responsible for implementing the Exhibitions Program, overseeing the Fine Art and Craft Workshop Program, creating much of the content of the fresh art website, and for chairing fresh art’s special events committee. Suzanne was Manager and Archival Curator of the prestigious OK Harris Gallery in Soho for more than thirty years. She has a B.S. in Art Education from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia and an M.A. from New York University. Contact Suzanne at suzanne@freshartnyc.org.

Wendy Grossman

Wendy Grossman, Founder
A graduate of The New School For Social Research, Wendy has worked in social service direct care, administration, and art therapy practices with the homeless, the mentally ill, and the elderly. Wendy created and led Arts and Recreation Programs for two NYC homeless services agencies: The Bowery Residents’ Committee and the John Heuss House Drop-In Center. These experiences–coupled with her desire to work with people of special needs who use art for self-expression, healing, and growth–led her to form fresh art. She and her family live in Rhode Island, where Wendy leads art and writing workshops for homeless men and women.

Many thanks to Luke Henry for his nine years of active service (2007-2016) on fresh art’s Board of Directors. He was a terrific asset to the organization and we wish him all the best.
